IвЂ™m pretty sure IвЂ™m doing some sort of weird gallop to the side with my feet because I am literally THE WORST at jumping. Shaun T goes around and tells people to jump higher and make sure their feet are moving together. Moving squat jabs were in Cardio Challenge, but to recap, you do a squat and then jump up in the air and two punches, land, and then do two punches again. Why did I think Insanity was a good idea again? This round is moving squat jabs, wide pike ups, and hurdle drills. Apparently those are things that my body doesnвЂ™t like doingвЂ“moving fast and jumping. Most of the moves are repeats at this point and they lull me into thinking, вЂњOk, I got this workoutвЂ¦itвЂ™s going to be just like old school InsanityвЂ¦вЂќ ForeshadowingвЂ“I WAS WRONG.ДЄnd here is where things begin to go downhill, at least for me, because we start jumping and moving fast. You go thru these moves three times, switching the side that you focus on. You do a push-up, then come up and punch your arm out in front of your head then repeat. Then the push-up punches are just what they sound like. This is one where I often will do a few вЂњcorrectвЂќ ones and then switch to the modifier because I have a hard time coordinating my body to this correctly. I believe K covered the squat lunges in tabata power, but to recap, you do a squat then jump into a lunge then jump into a squat again. For the high jump cross, you jump straight up off the floor and bring your arms up, when you land, you do a cross punch to the right (or left, or alternating, depending on where youвЂ™re at). This round consists of high jump crosses, squat lunges, and push-up punches. The warm-up is the exact same moves as Cardio Challenge. time to contemplate why in the hell you ever decided to do this in the first place.

The moves are repeated throughout the round (like in Cardio Challenge, if you do the right leg first, it will be left leg second time, etc.) After the round, you get a 30 second water breakвЂ¦a.k.a. Throughout the rounds, you do each move for about 30 seconds and then move onto the next one. Sweat Intervals is set up the same as Cardio Challenge though. If you thought Cardio Challenge was roughвЂ¦this workout will do you in. IвЂ™m pretty sure I didnвЂ™t, because I still felt like I was going to die. I forgot to write down my Max time the first time I did it, so I have no idea if I did any better the second time. IвЂ™ve now done it twice (once to try it out before starting the program) and once on Wednesday. This workout makes me want to barf just thinking about it.
